Lineage Selected for Las Vegas!
Received awesome news today. My thriller screenplay,Lineage, was Officially Selected for this year’s Script Summit in Las
Vegas!
It’s great news.
The Script Summit hosted by the writers of We Fix Your Script is listed as 1 of the Top 20 Screenwriting contests by The Script Lab.
In its 2nd year the Script Summit takes place July 29th through August 1st in Las Vegas, Nevada. Three days of seminars and chitchat about screenwriting, meet and greets, cocktail socials, and fun impromptu writer events.
The Summit coincides with the final week of 15 other film and screenwriter events, including Action on Film Festival, Hollywood Dreams, all hosted in and around the Brenden Theater of the Palms Hotel and Casino.
My screenplay Lineage is also entered in Action on Film Megafest and its sister fest Hollywood Dreams – no word from either of them yet.
On August 1st the combined festivals have a red carpet awards dinner where the winners and runner ups will be announced.
Finalists for the Script Summit will be announced July 7th. But as an Officially Selected screenwriter, I’ll be at that event. It’ll be fun.
How could Vegas NOT be fun?
