So pleased to report that two of my short scripts, The Allure of Blackfish, and Waking Amelia, have made the semi-final round in the WriterXwriters screenwriting contest!
The Allure of Blackfish is a genre mashup of horror and the sport of ice fishing short. And, Waking Amelia is a drama short with a touch of science fiction. Both scripts are 9 pages long.
This is the first year that Waking Amelia has been entered in contests and it is doing well.
The next round of judging will be announced on 3/31/24.
I’m really hoping one or both make it to the finals or beyond.
