So pleased to report that two of my short scripts, The Allure of Blackfish,<\/em> and Waking Amelia<\/em>, have made the semi-final round in the WriterXwriters screenwriting contest!<\/p>\n

The Allure of Blackfish<\/em> is a genre mashup of horror and the sport of ice fishing short. And, Waking Amelia<\/em> is a drama short with a touch of science fiction. Both scripts are 9 pages long.<\/p>\n

This is the first year that Waking Amelia<\/em> has been entered in contests and it is doing well.<\/p>\n

The next round of judging will be announced on 3\/31\/24.<\/p>\n

I’m really hoping one or both make it to the finals or beyond.<\/p>\n
