Love is in the air – It’s February. It’s Valentine’s Day!<\/p>\n

For this holiday I will most certainly get flowers – not roses. I’m not a roses kind of gal. I prefer bouquets with a mixture of flower types and colors with sprays of Baby’s Breath or lush green ferns.<\/p>\n

Hubby with get me chocolate covered pretzels or chocolate covered nuts – and we’ll have a romantic dinner out at a local restaurant.<\/p>\n

My gift to my husband, Robert, is a box of Nilla Wafers and a box of Cheese its – his favorite snack aside from licorice.<\/p>\n

Who couldn’t smile on a Valentine’s Day like the one I described above? Certainly not me.<\/p>\n

But if you find yourself short on romance this Valentine’s Day, fear not. Your romance drought will one day end, and you’ll find a reason to smile again with love in your heart. You can always be my valentine this year.<\/p>\n

I can’t get you chocolates, flowers, or dinner, but I can recommend we watch two of my favorite romance movies:<\/p>\n

  1. It Was Always You with Erin Krakow and Tyler Hynes – a timeless Hallmark flick.<\/li>\n
  2. The Ugly Truth – with Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl – my favorite romcom.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I’ll be watching them at my house after dinner tonight. You can probably find one or the other streaming online.<\/p>\n

    They both offer smiles that will tug at your heart and give you a chuckle of two. Neither one will leave you sobbing – which is a good thing.<\/p>\n

    Let’s make it a date!<\/p>\n
