{"id":1222,"date":"2020-10-28T13:25:06","date_gmt":"2020-10-28T17:25:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scriptchic.com\/?p=1222"},"modified":"2020-12-25T16:20:50","modified_gmt":"2020-12-25T21:20:50","slug":"righteous-screencraft-tv-pilot-quarter-finalist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scriptchic.com\/?p=1222","title":{"rendered":"Righteous Screencraft TV Pilot Quarter Finalist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just got the news the my 1-hour TV Pilot, <em>Righteous<\/em>, made the quarter finals in the Screencraft TV Pilot contest.<\/p>\n<p>The list of my fellow quarter finalists is long, and I&#8217;m hopeful that my pilot will make it to another round.<\/p>\n<p>It seems EVERYONE is writing TV pilots.<\/p>\n<p>With Hollywood&#8217;s film industry strapped to a bare minimum in production, I&#8217;m hoping more and more TV producers are reading pilots, and that streaming services like, Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu continue to grab up new shows, giving new writers a chance to see their shows picked up.<\/p>\n<p>I love Righteous. It was fun to write.<\/p>\n<p>The TV format is different from feature script format, so it took some time to get used to the Teaser and 4-Act structure. But, I like it.
